MTN South Africa Chief Consumer Officer Mapula Bodibe takes the helm at MTN Rwanda, bringing with her more than 15 years’ experience with MTN, including in Uganda.

She is a Chartered Marketer with 17 years’ experience in the Telecommunications sector and more than 20 years’ experience in Commercial Management and Marketing, managing Consumer portfolios, Products and Brands to drive revenue and market share, whilst building long lasting relationships with customers.

She has a strong background in commercial strategy, consumer marketing, customer strategy, brand management and communications, product management and customer analytics.

“The various roles I have filled over the years have given me the incredible opportunity and privilege to drive the connectivity of customers through telecommunications. The work I have done has contributed to creating and building strong brands and revenue generating products and services for the various organizations I have had the opportunity to work for” – she wrote on her LinkedIn page.

She has described herself as having passion and respect for customers which has driven her throughout her career and the knowledge that the work, she does every day has a positive impact on customers lives, enabling them to connect to their loved ones inspires me to keep doing what I do.
